The Ajax MotionCam Jeweller is a wireless indoor motion detector with built-in photo verification, designed to detect movement inside protected premises and visually confirm alarm events. MotionCam detects movement using a PIR sensor and can identify human motion from the first steps inside the protected area. When the system is armed and motion is detected, the built-in camera captures a series of images that can be sent through the Ajax system, helping users and monitoring teams understand what triggered the alarm.
The detector supports pet immunity for animals up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm in height when installed and configured correctly. This makes it suitable for many residential spaces where small pets may move around while the alarm system is active.
MotionCam uses Jeweller radio technology for alarm communication and Wings radio technology for image transmission.
