Using dual PIR sensors and Ajax detection algorithms, MotionCam Outdoor helps identify real movement while reducing false alarms caused by environmental changes or small animals. Its adjustable detection range of up to 15 metres allows the device to be configured for different outdoor layouts and security requirements.
When motion is detected, the built-in camera captures a series of images that can be sent through the Ajax app for visual alarm verification. This allows users to assess the situation quickly before taking further action, giving clearer context than a standard motion alert alone.
MotionCam Outdoor uses Jeweller radio technology for alarm communication and Wings radio technology for image transmission.
