Long HDMI runs are where a cinema or boardroom installation becomes unforgiving. Starlight 48 carries HDMI 2.1 over optical fibre for displays positioned well beyond the reach of a conventional passive copper lead.
The active cable uses OM3 laser-optimised fibre with dedicated conversion electronics inside slim die-cast connectors. Its narrow plug body is useful when conduit space and wall-box depth are limited.
Use the shortest stocked length that follows the planned route with sensible service loops at the source and display.
