SVS 3000 Micro puts two active eight-inch drivers and an 800-watt amplifier into a cabinet small enough for rooms that cannot accommodate a conventional subwoofer. The opposed driver layout sends equal force in both directions, keeping the enclosure steady while bass output rises.
A 50 MHz Analog Devices processor manages the sealed system and provides the filters behind SVS app control. From the main seat, the listener can adjust crossover, phase, room gain and three bands of parametric EQ, then store separate presets for music or cinema.
Its compact dimensions make placement easier, but not irrelevant. Test the 3000 Micro near more than one wall position before applying EQ, and leave access to the rear connections if a trigger or wired stereo feed is part of the system.
