Sonos Arc is the original full-size Dolby Atmos soundbar in the current Sonos ecosystem, intended for a main television rather than a bedroom screen. Its long cabinet spreads front-channel information across the picture and uses upward-firing drivers for compatible height effects.
Eleven Class-D amplifiers drive eight elliptical woofers and three tweeters, including a dedicated centre unit for dialogue. HDMI eARC connects the television, while Wi-Fi, Ethernet and AirPlay 2 make Arc a music player when the screen is off.
Arc can operate alone or become the front of a larger Sonos cinema with a compatible subwoofer and rear speakers. Trueplay should be run after final placement, especially when wall mounting changes the distance to nearby surfaces.
