The Ajax MotionProtect Jeweller is a wireless indoor motion detector designed to identify movement inside protected premises and instantly alert the Ajax alarm system when intrusion is detected. It is ideal for homes, apartments, offices, retail spaces, storerooms, and other indoor security applications.
Using a PIR sensor, MotionProtect detects movement from people by identifying infrared radiation changes in the protected area. When installed correctly, it monitors up to 12 metres and recognises human motion from the first step, helping provide fast and reliable intrusion detection.
The detector includes Ajax SmartDetect technology to help prevent false alarms. It can ignore pets weighing up to 20 kg and up to 50 cm in height, making it suitable for many homes with small animals when installed and configured according to Ajax recommendations.
MotionProtect communicates with the Ajax hub using Jeweller two-way radio technology, offering secure wireless communication, encrypted data transmission, and long-range connection in open space. It is battery-powered, easy to install with SmartBracket mounting, and can operate for up to 5 years from its pre-installed battery.
