The Vestra W12 is the middle subwoofer in the range and the one that suits most living rooms, with a larger driver and double the amplifier power of its smaller sibling.
Triple suspension on the driver is the significant change. Three layers controlling cone travel keep the motion linear at the excursions where a conventional suspension would begin to distort, which is what allows a sealed box to play this deep.
Extension reaches into the high teens in a real room, low enough to carry film effects and the bottom of an orchestra without the main speakers noticing the handover.
Presets and phase adjustment are shared with the rest of the range, and the cabinet stays a manageable size for a room where a subwoofer has to coexist with furniture.
