The Vecta V240 is a compact all-weather speaker made for the awkward positions in an outdoor system: under an eave, tucked into a corner, high on a wall where a larger cabinet would look wrong.
Two small drivers rather than one is the unusual part of it. Splitting bass and midrange across a pair keeps the cabinet shallow while providing cone area that a single small driver could not manage on its own.
Its enclosure is completely sealed, which serves two purposes at once. No port means no route for water or dirt, and sealed loading keeps the bass tight in a space where nothing reinforces it anyway.
Sold singly rather than in pairs, it suits the way outdoor systems are actually specified: speakers placed where coverage is needed rather than bought two at a time and made to fit.
