Monitor Audio builds the Silver 200 7G around a C-CAM Gold Dome tweeter with UD Waveguide II and Rigid Surface Technology II cone profiles. Two 5.25-inch drivers share mid-bass duties in a 2.5-way network, giving the lower unit more focus on bass while both contribute through the vocal range.
The 200 can sit closer to normal furniture than the bigger Silver towers, though careful distance from corners will keep its dual rear ports tidy. Its moderate sensitivity calls for honest amplifier power rather than an optimistic miniature amp.
