Description
Monitor Audio Gold C250 6G Centre Speaker
The Gold C250 6G is the centre channel built to partner the Gold floorstanders, and getting that partnership right counts for more than most buyers expect.
Dialogue lives almost entirely in this speaker. A dedicated midrange driver, rather than a pair of cones splitting the work between them, keeps voices anchored and intelligible when a soundtrack turns loud around them.
Twin bass drivers flank the midrange and tweeter in the usual horizontal layout, with the crossover set to hold the response even for seats either side of the centre line.
Partnered with any of the Gold models it shares the same tonal signature, which is what stops a voice changing character as it pans across the front of a film. Shelf depth is worth checking early, because the cabinet is shallow but unusually wide.
