Monitor Audio Gold 500 6G Floorstanding Speaker
The Monitor Audio Gold 500 6G is a three-way floorstanding speaker from the Gold Series 6G, scaled with twin large bass drivers for rooms where a stereo system has the space to perform.
Weight and scale come from those bass drivers, while a dedicated mid-range unit keeps voices and instruments clear of their effort. HDT C-CAM cones are used throughout the mid and low frequencies, giving the music a consistent character from top to bottom.
The MPD III transducer handles the highest frequencies, and HiVe II port technology tunes the cabinet for deep extension. Together they give the tower deep, extended bass in proportion to its size.
Cast aluminium outriggers and spiked feet give the tall cabinet a planted stance, with spikes that come out for wooden floors. Magnetic grilles keep the front clean when the drivers are covered, and Macassar veneer or High-Gloss Black lets the pair sit comfortably in a considered room.
