The Gold 100 6G is an unusual proposition: a standmount built around a large bass driver and a dedicated midrange, a three-way layout that most makers reserve for floorstanders.
That extra driver earns its keep by freeing the midrange from bass duty. Voices sit in a band of their own rather than sharing a cone with the low end, and the difference shows most on dense recordings.
Reach in a real room runs low enough that many systems will not want a subwoofer at all, yet the cabinet still belongs on a stand beside the seating rather than on the floor.
It answers a room that cannot take floorstanders but refuses to give up weight, and it rewards an amplifier with genuine current behind it. Stands count for more than usual here, because the cabinet carries real mass and wants a solid base underneath it.
