Gold dome sounds like decoration but is not. The material is stiff and well damped, and it holds its shape at frequencies where a softer tweeter would begin to flex, which keeps treble clean rather than splashy.
Reach runs lower than the cabinet size suggests, and the crossover sits high enough that the bass-mid cone carries voices in full before handing over. Vocals stay whole instead of being split across two drivers.
An eight ohm nominal load and a modest power requirement make it straightforward to partner. Most integrated amplifiers drive it properly, which keeps the cost of the system in the speakers rather than in the electronics.
