Super HeavyWeight Champion is the heavier record weight for high-mass turntables and substantial platter bearings. Its job is to couple the LP firmly while applying more of HRS's damping material than the standard Super HeavyWeight.
A machined aluminium shell keeps the shape easy to grip and the polymer underside protects the label. Check the turntable manufacturer's guidance before using it on a suspended or lightweight deck.
Champion is reserved for substantial platter systems whose bearings are specified for the additional load.
