MartinLogan Motion Foundation F2 is the largest floorstander in the range, intended for listeners who want deeper extension and greater scale without moving to a separate bass tower. The F2's Satin White cabinet gives the speaker a lighter visual presence while the black baffle keeps attention on the drivers.
A Gen2 Folded Motion tweeter works with a dedicated 5.5-inch aluminium midrange and three 6.5-inch aluminium woofers. Giving the vocal range its own driver reduces the demand placed on the bass cones and lets the crossover divide the spectrum more deliberately.
The F2 is best given breathing space from the wall so its rear ports can work cleanly. In a larger stereo room it can carry music without immediate subwoofer support, while in a cinema it has the headroom expected of a main left and right pair.
