MartinLogan Motion Foundation B1 is a compact bookshelf speaker for a study, smaller lounge or surround position where the cabinet should stay visually discreet. The B1's Satin White cabinet gives the speaker a lighter visual presence while the black baffle keeps attention on the drivers.
A 5.5-inch aluminium mid-bass driver shares the front baffle with MartinLogan's Gen2 Folded Motion tweeter. The combination is deliberately simple: one crossover point, two drivers and a rear port, with the waveguide keeping their output integrated through the listening area.
The B1 rewards a proper stand or solid shelf and a little clearance behind the cabinet. Pair it with a capable subwoofer for cinema use, or keep the system small and direct for near-field and everyday music listening.
