The KA-1000-THX is the dedicated powerhouse behind a Klipsch THX Ultra2 home cinema, a full-featured Class D amplifier engineered to drive passive THX subwoofers with rock-solid reliability under the most demanding conditions.
A massive toroidal power supply delivers 500 watts continuous into 8 ohms or 1000 watts into 4 ohms and can drive up to two subwoofers. A crossover bypass, signal-sensing auto on/off and professional NL2 SpeakOn outputs make it equally suited to a high-end install. Finished in black with an anodized aluminium front panel.
In a THX system, this is the amplifier that keeps the subwoofer section controlled, serviceable and properly matched.
