The WiiM AMP Ultra is the flagship of the WiiM streaming amplifier range, a compact box that turns a pair of passive speakers into a complete stereo system with music, television and control in one place.
Day to day, a touchscreen on the front shows what is playing and handles playback without reaching for a phone. HDMI ARC brings television sound through the same speakers, so films and music share one familiar setup.
Behind that sits a Class-D output stage with post-filter feedback, giving bookshelf and floorstanding speakers properly controlled power. RoomFit then adjusts the sound to suit the room it actually lives in.
A subwoofer output and support for the major streaming platforms leave space for the system to grow over time without replacing the amplifier at its centre or the speakers it already drives.

The Motion Foundation F1 is a genuinely slim floorstander, which is the point of it. Three small bass cones stacked vertically move as much air as one large driver while keeping the cabinet narrow enough to disappear against a wall.
Splitting bass across three drivers has a second benefit beyond width. Each cone travels less for the same output, so distortion stays low where a single hard-working driver would begin to compress.
A dedicated midrange cone sits above them, freed entirely from low-frequency duty, and the folded tweeter handles everything above. Voices come through a driver doing only one job.
Sensitivity is high for a four ohm design and the cabinet is manageable for one person to position. It fits a living room that wants full-range sound without a pair of wide towers in the corners.
