Bowers & Wilkins 706 S3 Bookshelf (pair)
706 S3 is the larger of the two regular 700 Series stand-mount speakers. Its cabinet and 165mm Continuum cone give it the headroom to work in rooms where a smaller bookshelf speaker might sound constrained.
A decoupled Carbon Dome tweeter and revised crossover focus the presentation, while the substantial bass/midrange driver supplies the scale. That balance makes the 706 S3 a strong choice for both two-channel listening and front or rear cinema channels.
Give it a stable stand and some space from the rear wall, then let the room and amplifier do the rest.
