Bowers & Wilkins 702 S3 Floorstander (pair)
702 S3 is the flagship floorstander in the 700 Series, combining a substantial cabinet with the range’s more advanced driver technology. It is made for a serious stereo system or the front left and right channels of a large home cinema.
The Carbon Dome tweeter sits in a Solid Body Tweeter assembly, while three Aerofoil Profile bass cones and a downward-firing port handle the lower end. That arrangement gives the 702 S3 both reach and control without making the front of the cabinet look busy.
It needs a room that can accommodate a full-size floorstander, but the payoff is a speaker that can carry a system without relying on a subwoofer for every low-frequency detail.
