Twelve channels of music from a single rack unit is the whole proposition.

Channels can be bridged in pairs where a zone needs more than its share, so a main living space and a bathroom can run from the same chassis without either being compromised for the other.

Six dedicated inputs give each zone its own source, and two global inputs cover the material that should play everywhere at once. That split is what distributed audio actually needs day to day.

Distortion stays low across all twelve channels, and load monitoring watches each one independently. For a rack that nobody visits between service calls, reliability counts for far more than headline power, and this is a chassis built to be forgotten about.

Anthem MDX-12 official product page

Main Features

ITEM

DESCRIPTION

Twelve channels in one rack unit

A full distributed system in a single rack space.

Bridgeable channel pairs

More output for a zone that needs it, from the same chassis.

Per-zone and global inputs

Six dedicated inputs plus two that play everywhere.

Load monitoring per channel

Each channel protected and watched independently.

Efficient power supply

Up to a kilowatt available from a compact single-height chassis.

Specifications

DETAIL

VALUE

Power output

75W x 12 channels at 8 ohms, up to 150W x 12 channels at 4 ohms

Bridged output

280W at 8 ohms

Channels

12 channels

Total harmonic distortion

0.002 %

Inputs

Six dedicated analogue inputs, one per zone, plus two selectable global analogue inputs

Rack height

Single 1U rack space

Power supply

Up to 1,000 watts

Protection

Advanced Load Monitoring (ALM) with channel bridging

Cooling

Fan cooled 1U chassis

Included Items

ITEM

QUANTITY

MDX-12 amplifier

1
